It's time for sweetness...

..go and have some ice-cream before you come to the voodoo-voodoo club on friday (16th) at the studio. I recommend melon (or even water-melon), amarena and pistachio. The "Eiscafe Trieste" has the best ice cream in town and is definately run by the nicest ice cream padre ever!!!
He shared some secrets with me and he's making sure, that his icy cream tastes like nothing else in town. He uses real fruits (can u imagine that!?) and a secret ingredient that's super expensive but does the whole trick!
Its on Venloer Str. 11 (between Friesenplatz and Hans-Böckler Platz) and opens between 10 and 20 h.

Today I have a very important message for u !!!!
I will dj at this wonderfull live-gig party at the Studio 672 on friday the 16th of april.
Akanni will play his live star-eye beauties, the sweet Nadja will perform with just a guitar and a girl from Canada, called Rachel will play the piano (so I've heard!?).

Lee Fields

was equally as good as Charles Bradley and i could not believe it when i heard that they would have a show together in cologne. i thought it was a gift of the universe!
to see some real seventies legends now in concert is truly amazing, and i bet, they are just as good as back in the days.
a friend told me that Lee does not even realise how big a star he is. his album "my world" caused a massive hype amongst soul fans last year and some say it was the best album of 2009. but Lee still seems to be humble. bless him!

wow, what a vibe!
i enjoyed myself very much! we had the great Slimmah from Amsterdam on the controls, who reminded me of oldschool disciples sounds. the beautiful Jazzmin glowed with her poetic mceeing, lots of wonderful friends came around and Perch and Pyton really gave the people a hot pot dance session. it was perfect!

this way the whole crew could stand on the floor with the crowd, faced by a wall of sound.
and it looks beautifull too!
